Special Order Cakes

Sizing options: 
8 inch round, two layer cakes, serving 10-12 people with leftovers
6 inch rounds, two layer cakes, serving 6 people with leftovers (base price 40-45)

4 inch round, two layer sharing cakes (for 2 people) (base price 25-30)

Add a layer to the 6 or 8 inch cakes for $15

Decorations: The pricing referenced below on the menu is for basic decoration (swirls, chocolate drip, a message). More elaborate decorations such as cascading, hand-piped flowers, fondant detailing, and gold paint detailing will require the following minimum surcharges: 

elaborate decoration on 4 inch: $15 minimum

elaborate decorate on a 6 inch: $25 minimum

elaborate decoration on an 8 inch cake $30 minimum

Karl's German Chocolate Cake - $65 for a two layer, 8 inch round

A rich chocolate cake, filled with alternating layers of homemade coconut pecan goo (you know and love this goo!), topped with a dark chocolate buttercream. 

Strawberry Cream Cake - $60 for a two layer, 8 inch round

A vanilla cake, scented with lemon, and filled with homemade strawberry filling. Topped with vanilla french buttercream and optional white or dark chocolate drip. Fresh strawberries are added when in season. Out of season, I add a strawberry decorated sugar cookie!

Pop Pop's Carrot Cake -$65 for a two layer, 8 inch round

Delicate, carrot cake layers alternate with softened cheesecake filling, and iced with swiss meringue buttercream. Please specify if you would like pecans in your cake!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge Cake -$65 for a two layer, 8 inch round

This rich two-layer cake sandwiches a filling of peanut butter fudge, and is topped with a  chocolate swiss merinuge buttercream,  chocolate drip, homemade peanut brittle, and wedges of chocolate peanut butter fudge cookies! 

Hummingbird Cake -$60 for a two layer, 8 inch round

The hummingbird cake is a traditional two layer southern cake made with bananas, pineapple, and pecans. Mine also has a filling of roasted, rum-soaked, fresh pineapple. This cake is topped with a cream cheese frosting.

Cookies and Cream Cake -$60 for a two layer, 8 inch round

This chocolate cake is iced with cookies and cream buttercream (made with homemade chocolate cookie crunchies), filled with more buttercream, extra chocolate crunchies, and some semisweet chocolate ganache. In case there is any confusion about what type of cake this is, I've topped it with Oreo cookies as well.

Burnt Almond Cake -$65 for a two layer, 8 inch round

No almonds were harmed in the making of the cake! The name of the cake is derived from the blanketing layer of caramelized sliced almonds that enrobe it. This is a cake for almond lovers. Two layers of delicate white cake, a filling of almond pastry cream, and a topping of Amaretto swiss buttercream.

Coconut Cake - $60 for a two layer, 8 inch round

A fluffy coconut cake with raspberry jam, a coconut cream cheese icing and coconut decoration. 

Sprinkles Cake - $60 for a two layer, 8 inch round

A two layer, fluffy, vanilla, sprinkle-filled, white cake. Iced with French Meringue Buttercream and more sprinkles!

Lemon Cake - $65 for a two layer, 8 inch round

A lemony butter cake, filled with fresh lemon curd and a lightly lemon  french meringue buttercream. Garnished with candied lemon slices.

Chocolate Caramel Cake - $70 for a two layer, 8 inch round

This dark chocolate cake is filled with alternating layers of homemade caramel, crunchy caramel cornflake discs and vanilla swiss meringue buttercream.
